Ronda and Jerez. Instead, go for the small unknown villages &#8211; the smaller the better &#8211; such as Salares, Ardales, Teba or Villanueva de la Concepci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignnone wp-image-420 size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/autentical.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/42\/2017\/07\/SALARES1.jpg\" alt=\"the whitewashed village of Salares\" class=\"wp-image-420\"\/><figcaption>Salares, east of Malaga<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In the very small whitewashed villages you will find small bars serving tapas for almost no money on the main square. It is not exactly magnificent cooking, but rather truly local experiences &#8211; both with regard to the small dishes and to the life of the bar and on the square. And then it&#8217;s really cheap!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignnone wp-image-611 size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/autentical.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/42\/2017\/07\/1.jpg\" alt=\"the whitewashed village of Ardales\" class=\"wp-image-611\"\/><figcaption>Ardales, North-western part of the Malaga province<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>On these bars the local men meet to drink coffee and discuss local affairs &#8211; and often get a little tapa from the display on the bar.
